brltty-flite software package provides Access software for a blind person - Flite speech driver, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install brltty-flite
brltty-flite is installed in your system.
Make ensure the brltty-flite package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep brltty-flite *
You will get with brltty-flite package name, version, architecture and description in a table
